Ms. Emily is a passionate music educator with a strong foundation in teaching and a deep commitment to fostering musical growth in her students. She has experience as a Piano Teacher, working with students ages 4 to 13, where she emphasizes musicality, proper technique, and foundational piano skills. Ms. Emily's approach is centered on creating a positive and engaging learning environment, tailored to each student's individual needs and abilities.

In addition to her teaching experience, Ms. Emily has worked at Berklee College of Music, where she supported students in optimizing their workflows in Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools, Logic, and Finale. As a CTC Peer Trainer and CTC Lab Monitor, she guided students in troubleshooting technical issues and improving their music production skills, further honing her ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and accessible way.

Ms. Emily’s dedication to music education is complemented by her extensive volunteer work. She has volunteered at Inova Loudoun Hospital, offering calming piano music to patients and visitors while also assisting in administrative tasks. She has also been actively involved in organizations like Vecinos Unidos and StandUp For Kids OC, where she has mentored students and managed volunteer onboarding, demonstrating her leadership and organizational skills.

Fluent in Mandarin and English, Ms. Emily holds an American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate. She earned a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, where she double-majored in Music Production & Engineering and Music Business, and is currently enrolled in the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medicine Program at George Washington University.
